When you overcome a certain level of pain, you will not ever feel it the same again.
How do we become more resilient and unshakeable, there are a few key elements and processes that are at the core of change. One key to unlocking your potential is to stop the mind from and in the overthinking mode.
We are responsible to create better and more for ourselves. Living a heart-centred, clear-mind life is the path. So how can we stop overthinking or suffering in our thoughts?
Learn how to meditate and be still - monkey mind is because there is too much input and there is a restlessness of the mind - it is too much and too many thoughts. Or maybe just one big thing that you ponder or are circulating in your head - what is most problematic here is the inability to learn how to shut it off or down. The ability to control or regulate this pattern is the key. If your thoughts shatter you than you need to learn how to focus for more and better. How can you imagine and how can you bring in a different solution in thought? How can you get out of the cycle or mental torcher?
Look on how to make the change – One aspect is learning to focus. It is very important but sometimes it is not so easy (for many reasons). How do you manage doing this? There is not only one right approach – but start with taking a closer look at what is keeping you in a limited way of thinking or a limited view of the situation.
Learn how to focus when you need it, at will. You can learn this skill in practical ways. The intention energy of focus is important. How do we create a better focus? Keep in mind to be human is limited, this is where you need to find something from deep inside and learn to direct focus on new feelings, work, family, or partnership - there are so many options. Learn to take a step back and look at the whole situation from a bird’s eye view - seeing all the parts and look at how you can make things better or more – we can achieve this with learning how to focus and broaden our points of view. Remember holding a narrow understanding or tunnel vision is what is limiting and keeps you from taking a step forward in learning how to change your mind.
Direct your focus but be aware of what is going on around you. Its like eating and listening to someone speak at the same time or driving and car and talking. You know how to eat and there are many functions you need to be doing to eat and also listening to absorb information. You know how to drive and where you are going but also have a thoughtful conversation. You know how to do both at the same time. Focusing and being open at the same time is what you are doing. It is necessary to be aware of that. It is like learning how to sense things around you, but you are also aware of your physical body and you adjust your focus and being open at the same time. I teach people how to do this in my intuitive development classes - I know this to be a powerful act of being aware and learning how to focus. Separately practice a focus state and an open state - learn to be in how each of them feels. Practice separating them in order to know how each one feels. Then the magic is combining this into the same point in time and attention. You are not in two separate states; you are in both at the exact same time.
Being in the enchantment of them both is being within the magic of one’s awareness/creation. What can disturb you and keep you from your own awareness is overthinking. Learning how to overcome this condition is essential to focusing. How to do this can be simple but you need to apply yourself in building certain skill sets.
Choose one focus, could be an object, a word, just your breath or moving your tongue across the back of your front teeth, every so slowly - focus on it - you decide what you want to bring to our awareness to think about…do this for 2 minutes then work your way up to 5 or 10 minutes straight. It is like a type of meditation. So, you will mediate for those many minutes and only put your attention on that focus. In Buddhist or Zen practices, it can be called mind-full, being mindful of what it is you are focusing on, your mind is full of only that. That focus can also be a small movement of some sort – such as in one repetitive movement in Tai- chi or Chi-gong - feel and occupy your mind and make it full of that only for a certain length of time. Start with 2 minutes and move your way up. Know what you are doing, feel what you are doing, make it deliberate and take full action, responsibility and awareness within it. This is how you can create focus and still the mind and create a focused the mindset. When you feel into that focus and keep practicing it, it brings in gifts of being more present, more awareness. Which in turn stops the monkey mind and overthinking in the ways you do not want to feel disturbed in your life.
These practices help you to learn how to concentrate. You will start to feel more peaceful - pay attention to being aware of your presence - being present is mindful of what you are doing and thinking in the given moment. The ability to distinguish is important and essential. This is how to live more deliberately and to be able to build up focus. Living more intently, deliberately with focus and awareness of what you are doing, creates peace and clarity. Put thoughts in your mind - what do you want to feel, what do you want to achieve. This is possible - you need to do things differently. We all have this ability and potential and it is merged with our awareness and action.
Learn to have faith in your ability to do this which comes from an internal will (which I believe comes from the conscious power that created us - Will comes from the most innate part of you that you are born with).
Discover your true nature, your place here, feel your body, open to your senses and surrender, submit and focus. If you put something in your mind or pay attention to aperient thoughts that you do not want - you are not going with the flow of your true nature and ability to be powerful and create more and better for yourself. What is your place in the vastness on what we call this life.
We have unlimited power of and the ability to be full of life. Allow life to move through you, be accepting and acknowledge what you experience... When we don't push against it but allow it to move through - we can overcome more adversity and learn to keep focusing on thought that feels better and more productive. This ultimately will help you to end up where we would rather be. All of this is a process of learning how to be stronger from the most important aspects to create and better life. All humans experience loss, heartache from when we were a child to the present moment. We have memory of knowing loss, feeling loss and each time, we can recognize it - the difference with learning to be more focused in the mind and more aware of our surroundings will allow loss feelings to get easier as we move though time and experience. Feelings of anger, loss or frustration is always the same. The feelings of joy, peace or happiness are also the same throughout your life. We recognize them but there maybe a thousand different reasons or circumstances within why you may feel these things. How do you deal or handle all these circumstances currently? Learn to overcome, accept. We shift though focus and creating acceptance and peace. You must learn to focus and manage life's challenges - negative feelings cannot manage you, you must learn to manage it and them.
Fear is the most debilitating state of mind. The tools of focus, mind-fullness, awareness of self are there for you to manage all of life’s unpleasant and pleasant circumstances. Learn to get in touch with your pain - sometimes it can take a while to move past certain things, that is okay. You can go inward within the present moment and shift up by focusing. You will figure out how to shift, accept and release it. When you overcome a certain level of pain, you will not ever feel it the same again. When you decide to avoid, deflect, run away from pain it will keep perpetuating and keep you in a lower light. Life is a learning process of how to become a higher light, an enlightened being. It is all within us to discover. Learning how to focus is one of the paths to how we become more resilient and unshakeable!
